A bill permitting Michigan motorists to purchase a pro-life design for their license plate was passed by Michigan House of Representatives on Thursday, May 25. The bill now goes on to Rick Snyder for signing into law.
Under the new legislation, Michigan motorists would be permitted to purchase pro-life themed license plates for an extra $10 annual fee. The fee would be used to fund Choose Life Michigan. Currently in Michigan license plates can be ‘themed’ to support any State funded university or 14 other ’cause based’ non-profit organizations.
