Planned Parenthood recently tried to advocate for Disney to include abortion in its next princess, tweeting out its response to a recent Disney meme trend advocating for inclusion in the next iteration of a Disney princess. The same tweet also advocated that the next Disney princess be pro-choice, have a union job, be an undocumented immigrant, and be trans. Quite a combination. Social media backlash against the tweet was swift and overwhelming, with the tweet being hastily deleted and a brief admission that it had been “inappropriate”. Read more at USA Today.
